Riyadh, October 6, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 recorded the sale of three falcons on Sunday for a combined SAR935,000 in a live auction held before visitors in Malham, north of Riyadh, organizers said.
Two Mongolian falcons featured in the dedicated zone were sold: a Hur Farkh for SAR450,000 after intense bidding, and a Hur Qarnas for SAR400,000. The session concluded with the sale of a locally sourced Hur Shaheen from Al-Qahma (Aseer Region) for SAR85,000 as part of the Saudi Falcons Club auction for local falcons.
This year’s exhibition includes, for the first time, a Mongolian falcons zone, highlighting the birds’ standing among falconers in Saudi Arabia and the region. They are valued for their quality, size, long wingspan, endurance, and color range from pale white to dark brown.
The Saudi Falcons Club said its auction is limited to migratory Hur Shaheen falcons, with Qarnas Shaheen and wild falcons prohibited to support sustainability. The club provides services to falconers including transportation, accommodation, and sales documentation; the auction is broadcast on television and social media.
