India Showcases Handicrafts at INDEX Saudi Arabia in Riyadh

Riyadh, September 11, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – India is participating with a national pavilion at INDEX Saudi Arabia, taking place from September 9 to 11 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Embassy of India organized an interactive session titled “India: The Ideal Destination for Handicraft Sourcing.” Ambassador of India to the Kingdom, Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan, highlighted the importance of the handicraft sector, noting that the participation is supported by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) and the Indian Ministry of Textiles.
The Indian pavilion features leading handicraft exporters and live demonstrations of traditional artisanal skills, including metal engraving, clay crafts, coconut shell crafts, Kantha embroidery, and natural fiber handicrafts. The displays aim to showcase India’s rich artisanal heritage and promote greater cultural and trade exchange with Saudi Arabia.
