RIYADH, April 15 - Saudi Arabia's Future Investment Initiative Institute said on Wednesday it would hold its Priority Europe Summit in Rome from June 17 to 19, bringing together global leaders to examine how capital can support Europe's competitiveness, resilience and strategic autonomy in a rapidly changing world.
Held under the theme "Reimagining Europe: Capital, Sovereignty, and Strategic Independence," the summit will bring together policymakers, investors, innovators and decision-makers to explore how capital, industrial policy and cross-border cooperation can strengthen Europe's long-term position in energy, technology, security and finance.
The event comes at what organisers described as a pivotal moment as Europe shifts from crisis management to long-term reinvention, with euro zone growth forecast at about 1.2% in 2026.
Discussions will focus on how patient private capital, smarter policy frameworks and strategic investment can help deliver higher productivity, more resilient supply chains and a stronger industrial base.
Key topics will include artificial intelligence, data, digital infrastructure, capital markets and investment flows, green industrial policy and energy, supply chains, trade, security, advanced manufacturing and technology, real estate, tourism and urban renewal.
The three-day programme will include plenary sessions, workshops, meetings, networking breakfasts, bilateral talks and partner dinners designed to encourage high-level exchange and deliver concrete outcomes.
The institute said the Priority summits build on the legacy of its flagship annual conference in Riyadh and are designed to act as drivers of effective change in influential cities around the world.
