RIYADH, June 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds are forecast to continue in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha and Makkah regions, the National Center for Meteorology reported.


Maximum temperatures are also expected to continue rising in the Eastern Region.


The center forecast gusty winds and blowing dust in parts of the Eastern Region, as well as parts of Madinah, Hail, Tabuk, Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions.


Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to be northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central parts, with speeds of 20 to 45 kilometers per hour. In the southern part, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10 to 32 kilometers per hour, reaching 45 kilometers per hour during thunderstorms.


Waves in the Red Sea are forecast to range from half a meter to two meters, exceeding two meters during thunderstorms. The sea condition is expected to be slight to moderate.


In the Arabian Gulf, winds are forecast to be northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northeasterly in the southern part, at speeds of 10 to 35 kilometers per hour.


Waves in the Arabian Gulf are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with slight to moderate sea conditions.
