Thunderstorms and Dusty Winds Forecast Across Parts of Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, June 20 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are expected in parts of Jazan, Aseer and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern highlands of Makkah Region, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing the National Center for Meteorology.
Gusty winds and blowing dust are also expected to continue in parts of Makkah and Madinah regions, especially in coastal areas.
Over the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 20 to 45 km/h, and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part at speeds of 12 to 32 km/h.
Waves in the Red Sea are expected to range from half a meter to two meters, with slight to moderate sea conditions.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly in the northern part at speeds of 10 to 25 km/h, and northwesterly to southwesterly in the central and southern parts at speeds of 10 to 35 km/h.
Waves in the Arabian Gulf are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with relatively calm sea conditions.
