Sheikha Latifa inaugurates Art Dubai’s 20th edition

Dubai, May 15, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, inaugurated the 20th edition of art Dubai at Madinat Jumeirah on Thursday, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, ahead of its public opening from May 15 to 17.

During her tour, Sheikha Larifa visited a number of gallery presentations, including Made Forward – a major presentation from the Dubai Collection exploring themes of belonging, memory and the making of place through works drawn from more than 20 private collections across the UAE, including artworks from the collection of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikha Latifa’s personal collection.
She also visited an exhibition of modern Arab art presented by the Barjeel Art Foundation, a series of large – scale installations and site-responsive artworks, and met with artists and representative of local and international galleries and cultural institutions.
