Saudi Foreign Minister joins G7 session on maritime security in Canada

OTTAWA, November 13, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on Wednesday took part in a working session on maritime security and prosperity, held within the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Canada’s Niagara Region.

The session focused on strengthening maritime safety, safeguarding international shipping lanes, and enhancing collective action to ensure the uninterrupted flow of global trade routes. Participants emphasized the importance of coordinated international efforts to protect supply chains and preserve navigational stability, which remain critical to global economic growth.

Saudi Ambassador to Canada Amal Almoalimi also attended the meeting.
