Saudi Arabia, Egypt Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Developments and Security
RIYADH, November 7, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan received a telephone call from his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty to discuss regional and international developments and efforts to strengthen security and stability, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
The two ministers reviewed diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing further escalation in the region, according to an Egyptian statement published by the country's State Information Service.
They stressed the importance of restraint, dialogue and negotiations, urging parties involved in regional tensions to avoid further escalation and engage with ongoing mediation efforts.
The ministers also agreed to maintain coordination and consultations with relevant parties to support regional security and diplomatic solutions.
