Saudi Crown Prince, UAE President Hold Talks in Riyadh on Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments


Riyadh, Sept 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in Riyadh on Tuesday for talks on the fraternal ties and strategic cooperation between the two nations.


The discussions also covered regional and international issues, with a particular focus on developments in the Middle East, including the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and efforts to address the resulting humanitarian and security challenges.


Both sides underlined the importance of reinforcing stability and peace in the region by advancing a clear pathway toward a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace based on the two-state solution.


Following the talks, Prince Mohammed bin Salman hosted a luncheon in honor of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation.


Attending from the UAE side were Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Mohamed bin Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; and Sheikh Nahyan bin Saif Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.


From the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Energy; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of National Guard; Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Cabinet Member, and National Security Adviser.


Upon departure from King Khalid International Airport, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed was seen off by Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
