Riyadh, January 22, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia will host the World Economic Forum’s Global Collaboration and Growth Meeting in Jeddah on April 22-23, 2026, under the theme “Building Common Ground and Reviving Growth,” according to an announcement made on the final day of the forum’s 56th Annual Meeting in Davos.

Economy and Planning Minister Faisal Alibrahim confirmed the dates of the regular high-level WEF meeting, first announced at the 2025 annual meeting, and urged participants to sustain dialogue aimed at accelerating global growth.

He said the Jeddah meeting will build on momentum from the World Economic Forum’s special meeting hosted by Riyadh in 2024.

WEF President Børge Brende said the forum was “pleased to return to Saudi Arabia in 2026 to carry forward the conversations started at our annual meeting,” adding that the meeting would create space for leaders to work together and “ensure dialogue leads to meaningful collaboration and action.”

The announcement follows the WEF special meeting held in Riyadh in April 2024, which officials have cited as strengthening the Kingdom’s engagement on global economic cooperation.
