Saudi Arabia Signs Tourism Partnerships at World Travel Market London 2026

LONDON, United Kingdom, November 6 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia concluded its participation in World Travel Market (WTM) London 2026 with new tourism agreements and commercial partnerships, as the Kingdom seeks to expand international travel connections and attract visitors to its growing portfolio of destinations.

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), led by Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb and its chief executive Ageel Alshaibani, brought together 37 partners from the Kingdom's tourism industry for the three-day exhibition, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The Saudi delegation held meetings with international tour operators, airlines, travel distributors and hospitality companies, focusing on expanding commercial relationships and access to overseas tourism markets.

Several agreements and strategic partnerships were signed during the exhibition, although financial details and the number of deals were not disclosed.

Saudi Arabia's exhibition, known as Saudi Land, presented destinations including Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, the Red Sea and AMAALA, highlighting developments in luxury hospitality, cultural tourism and leisure travel.

AMAALA, a luxury tourism development on the Kingdom's northwestern Red Sea coast, was among the destinations featured during the event, with presentations focused on its emerging hospitality offering.

The exhibition also marked the announcement that reservations had opened for Dream of the Desert, a luxury rail service scheduled to begin its first journeys in October 2027.

Departing from Riyadh, the train will travel through northern Saudi Arabia, including Al-Jouf, Hail and Qassim, offering passengers accommodation and organised cultural experiences along the route.

The tourism authority's participation comes as Saudi Arabia expands its international tourism offering through new hotels, coastal resorts, heritage destinations and transport services.

The Kingdom is seeking to strengthen ties with international travel companies and distribution networks as part of its broader efforts to develop tourism and diversify its economy.
