Makkah International Arabian Horse Festival to Begin November 12

MAKKAH, Saudi Arabia, November 6 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia will host the 17th Makkah International Arabian Horse Festival from November 12 to 14, bringing together leading horse breeders, owners and stables from the Kingdom and abroad, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The three-day event will feature Arabian horses from Saudi Arabia, other Gulf countries and international participants, with a focus on the breed's pedigree and longstanding role in the cultural heritage of the Arabian Peninsula.
The festival is part of a growing calendar of equestrian competitions in Saudi Arabia, where horse breeding and equestrian sports remain closely associated with the country's history and traditions.
The championship will bring together established studs and stables from across the Arab world and beyond, providing an international setting for the presentation of Arabian horses.
Saudi Arabia has expanded its sporting calendar under Vision 2030, including specialised equestrian events aimed at attracting international participation and developing the domestic sports sector.
The Makkah festival forms part of those efforts while maintaining a focus on the preservation of Arabian horse breeding traditions.
