Saudi Arabia Sets November 10 Deadline for October Withholding Tax Filings

RIYADH, November 7, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia's Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has reminded businesses subject to withholding tax that they must submit their October 2026 tax filings by November 10 to avoid late-payment penalties.

The authority said businesses should complete their submissions through its official online portal, warning that unpaid taxes are subject to a penalty of 1% of the outstanding amount for every 30 days of delay beyond the deadline.

Withholding tax applies to payments made from sources within Saudi Arabia to nonresident entities that do not maintain a permanent establishment in the Kingdom.

The applicable tax rates are determined under Article 68 of Saudi Arabia's Income Tax Law and Article 63 of its Implementing Regulations.

ZATCA urged businesses to complete their filings within the specified period and said taxpayers seeking clarification could contact its 24-hour support center at 19993.

Additional assistance is available through the authority's X account, @Zatca_Care, by email at info@zatca.gov.sa, or through live chat on its website.

The deadline applies to withholding tax filings covering October 2026.
