Hajj Conference Connects Technology Developers With Pilgrim Service Providers
JEDDAH, November 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Technology developers and Hajj service providers are examining ways to improve crowd movement and access to information at the sixth Hajj Conference and Exhibition in Jeddah.
The event’s Innovation Zone, hackathon and Technology Oasis bring innovators, entrepreneurs and technology companies into contact with organisations that develop and operate services for pilgrims.
The exchanges give developers an opportunity to understand operational requirements and assess how their ideas could work in the settings where they would be used. They also allow service providers to discuss challenges encountered by staff working directly with pilgrims.
Areas under consideration include planning crowd movements and helping pilgrims find information and services at different stages of their journey.
The conference’s innovation spaces also connect researchers and technology specialists with potential partners to explore how proposed solutions could be developed for use across Hajj services.
