Saudi Arabia, Ecuador sign general cooperation agreement at WEF in Davos

DAVOS, Switzerland, Jan 21, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met Ecuador’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility, Gabriela Sommerfeld, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, and the two sides signed a general cooperation agreement.

During the meeting, the ministers reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in several fields, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

The agreement was signed after the talks, with the stated aim of strengthening ties between the two countries and expanding cooperation.
