Riyadh, February 9, 2026 (SABN) – The Royal Commission for Riyadh City, through its Riyadh Art initiative, has launched the Tuwaiq Sculpture 2026 exhibition on Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Street (Tahlia), with the public display running from February 9 to 22.

The exhibition presents 25 new works under the theme “Traces of What Will Be,” focusing on transformation and urban renewal. The sculptures were produced during a live phase from January 10 to February 5, with artists from 18 countries working with local stone and recycled metals, allowing the public to view the process.

Organisers selected the Tahlia Street site for its historical association with innovation and positioned the exhibition as an interactive cultural platform, including workshops and panel discussions.

All works from the 2026 edition will be added to Riyadh Art’s permanent collection. Since 2019, the initiative has hosted more than 170 artists and installed over 60 sculptures across the city, integrating contemporary art into public space.
