Oman Signs $7.5 Billion Agreements for Duqm Economic Zone Projects

MUSCAT, June 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Oman signed 10 agreements and memorandums of understanding to establish new projects in the Special Economic Zone at Duqm, with estimated investments valued at $7.5 billion, Oman’s state news agency reported.


The agreements were signed by Oman’s Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones.


They include an agreement to implement downstream phases two and three of Indian renewable energy company ACME Group’s green hydrogen project in Duqm.


Investment in the ACME Group project phases is valued at $4.2 billion.
