Riyadh, December 7, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Noor Riyadh 2025, one of the flagship programs of Riyadh Art overseen by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, concluded its fifth edition after welcoming more than seven million visitors and presenting 60 artworks by 59 local and international artists from 24 countries.

Held under the theme “In the Blink of an Eye,” the festival showcased light artworks across six main sites in the capital: Al-Hukm Palace District, King Abdulaziz Historical Center, stc Metro Station, King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Station, Al Faisaliah Tower, and JAX District in Diriyah.

This year’s edition recorded significant international achievements, with Noor Riyadh receiving 12 global cultural awards, including recognitions from the LIT Lighting Design Awards, the MUSE Design Awards, the New York Architecture Design Awards, and the TITAN Awards.

The festival also secured four Guinness World Records: the largest moving water artwork, the largest illuminated emoji, the largest AI-processed projection mapping on a building, and the largest 3D-printed mural artwork.

Executive Vice President of the Lifestyle Sector at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City Eng. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Hazani said the 2025 edition demonstrated the role of art in enhancing the urban environment and enriching the city experience through movement and light. He added that the program continues to reinforce Riyadh’s position as a global cultural destination.

The festival featured an expanded community-engagement program that attracted tens of thousands of participants, with workshops, panel discussions, family activities, and guided tours that contributed to the artistic and cultural experience.

As the world’s largest light-art festival, Noor Riyadh reflects the vision of the Riyadh Art program to transform the capital into an open-air gallery integrating public art into daily life. Current initiatives include preparations for Tuwaiq Sculpture 2026, set to launch early next year as an international platform for sculptors from Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The program is also installing permanent artworks across Riyadh’s neighborhoods and landmarks, supporting the presence of art in public spaces and contributing to the city’s evolving creative landscape.
