SPA

RIYADH, December 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Elite male and female riders from more than 30 countries are competing this week in the second and final stage of the fifth Jump Saudi championship at the Jump Saudi Arena in Al Janadryah.

The competition, which runs over three days, includes two-star and five-star events and forms part of Saudi Arabia’s annual equestrian calendar.

The championship is organised by the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation and is classified at a high level by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). Under this classification, results recorded during the event are officially recognised by the FEI and contribute to riders’ world rankings.

Since its launch in 2021, Jump Saudi has attracted participants from more than 30 countries. Ten nations have taken part in every edition, led by Saudi Arabia, alongside the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Egypt, as well as European countries including Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Britain and the Netherlands.

The FEI classification reflects compliance with international requirements related to event organisation, infrastructure, officiating standards and prize structure.
