FII Institute announces agenda and speakers for FII PRIORITY Europe 2026

RIYADH, May 11 – The Future Investment Initiative (FII) Institute on Monday unveiled the strategic agenda and first wave of headline speakers for FII PRIORITY Europe 2026, set to take place in Rome from June 17-19.

Held under the theme “Europe Reimagined: Capital, Sovereignty & Strategic Autonomy,” the summit will bring together global investors, policymakers, business executives and innovators to discuss Europe’s long-term competitiveness across sectors including energy, artificial intelligence, finance, manufacturing and security.

Chairman of the Executive Committee and Acting CEO of FII Institute Richard Attias said the summit comes at a pivotal moment for Europe’s economic and industrial future.

“Europe is entering a decisive period where competitiveness, resilience, and strategic autonomy will increasingly depend on how effectively capital is mobilized across industries, technologies, and infrastructure,” Attias said in a statement.

“FII PRIORITY Europe is designed to bring together global leaders and investors to examine not only Europe’s challenges, but also the significant opportunities emerging across energy, AI, manufacturing, finance, and sustainable growth,” he added.

Key discussions on the agenda include “Europe at the Inflection Point,” “Tariffs, Trade, and the New Geoeconomic Order,” and “Sovereign AI: Can Europe Build Its Own Intelligence Infrastructure?”

The summit is expected to feature a broad lineup of international political, financial and corporate leaders, including Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema Bandar, Public Investment Fund Governor and FII Institute Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb and Finance Minister Mohammed Aljadaan.

Other confirmed participants include Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, UniCredit CEO Andrea Orcel, PIMCO CEO Emmanuel Roman, Nasdaq Chief Financial Officer Sarah Youngwood and BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li, among others.

According to the institute, the summit will focus on mobilizing investment, strengthening strategic industries, securing digital and energy infrastructure and deepening connections between Europe’s public and private sectors and global markets.

FII Institute, founded by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has become a prominent global platform for discussions on investment, economic transformation and emerging technologies.
