Erdogan Calls for Diplomacy to End Regional War

Riyadh, March 11, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Wednesday that the ongoing regional conflict must be halted before it escalates further.
Speaking to lawmakers from his ruling party, Erdogan warned that the war could “set the entire region on fire” if it continues.
He stressed that diplomacy remains the only path to resolving the crisis.
“If diplomacy is given a chance, it is indeed possible to achieve peace,” Erdogan said.
The Turkish president added that Turkey is continuing diplomatic efforts aimed at bringing the parties involved in the conflict back to the negotiating table.
