Saudi Arabia Condemns Targeting of Qatari LNG Carrier in Arabian Gulf

RIYADH, November 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia condemned the targeting of the Qatari liquefied natural gas carrier Al Mayeda in Arabian Gulf waters and called for urgent international measures to protect maritime security and trade.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the vessel belongs to Qatar Gas Transport Company. It rejected violations that threaten the safety of navigation and global energy supplies.
The ministry reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s solidarity with Qatar in measures to protect its vessels and safeguard its international trade.
It also urged the international community to act urgently to ensure maritime security, protect international commerce and enforce international law.
