Saudi-Led Coalition Says It Carried Out Operation Against Resources Supporting Houthi Attacks
RIYADH, November 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi-led coalition said it carried out a precision military operation on Sunday morning against resources it said the Houthi militia was using to support repeated attacks on Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Malki said the militia was exploiting vital resources to sustain its war effort and develop its ballistic missile and drone capabilities.
The operation aimed to neutralize resources used in attacks that threatened civilians, civilian infrastructure and shipping lanes in the southern Red Sea, he said.
Al-Malki accused the Houthis of continuing deliberate and systematic attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure in both countries.
The Joint Forces Command would continue taking operational measures to deter the militia and prevent it from using those resources for military purposes, he added.
The coalition called on the Houthis to halt attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, warning that the group would bear the consequences of continuing its operations.
