Young Arabian Oryx Documented at Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve

RIYADH, August 7 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority has documented a young Arabian oryx resting beneath acacia trees inside the reserve.
The authority said the presence of young Arabian oryx in their natural habitat is a positive indicator of efforts to protect habitats, expand vegetation cover and reduce practices that affect ecological balance.
It said acacia trees provide shade, food and shelter for native species while supporting biodiversity and the stability of desert ecosystems.
The reserve’s conservation approach includes habitat protection, vegetation expansion, compliance with environmental regulations and continuous field monitoring, according to the authority.
The authority said its work to conserve natural resources and protect biodiversity supports the environmental sustainability objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
