Hail Greening Initiative Receives World Green City Awards Recognition
HAIL, September 21, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Hail’s “Hail is the Most Beautiful” initiative received a certificate of appreciation from the International Association of Horticultural Producers at the World Green City Awards 2026, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Hail Mayor Sultan Al-Zaidi presented the certificate to Hail Governor Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz during a meeting on Monday.
Al-Zaidi said the recognition covered the initiative’s work to expand green spaces and improve parks and public areas across the region.
He said the program also included measures to develop Hail’s urban landscape.
The mayor linked the initiative to the municipality’s environmental sustainability work and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
