UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed meets France’s Macron in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, December 21, 2025 (SABN) – United Arab Emirates President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, on Sunday during a working visit to the UAE, according to details released by Emirati authorities.
The meeting took place at the Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders exchanged New Year greetings and discussed UAE–France relations and ways to expand cooperation across a range of sectors, including the economy, investment and culture, as well as renewable energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence and sustainability.
Those attending included H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, alongside ministers and senior officials. Members of Macron’s accompanying delegation, including ministers and senior officials, also attended.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed hosted a luncheon in honour of Macron and the accompanying delegation.
Macron arrived earlier on Sunday and was received at the Presidential Flight in Abu Dhabi by H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and senior Emirati officials.
