Trump on Netanyahu's pushback on F-35 sales: “Nobody tells me what we should be selling”

WASHINGTON, July 28, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — US President Donald Trump rejected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s objections to potential F-35 fighter jet sales to Turkey, saying the decision rested with him, CNN reported.
Trump said he was considering allowing the sales and described Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as a friend and Turkey as a “tremendous ally.”
The sales are currently prohibited under US law because Turkey possesses Russian-made air defense systems.
Trump, who is expected to meet Netanyahu in Washington this week, also said the two leaders were largely aligned on Iran despite “a little difference.”
