Souq Al-Mawsim Continues to Draw Visitors During Diriyah Season 25-26

Riyadh, Dec. 3, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Souq Al-Mawsim, one of the main programs of Diriyah Season 25-26, has continued to attract visitors since opening on November 9 in the historic Al-Tawalie district, a site closely associated with Diriyah’s commercial and cultural history.

This year’s edition marks 70 years of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan, with programming that highlights cultural diversity through the presence of Kyoto’s heritage and contemporary craftsmanship. Displays include katana swords presented alongside Saudi bishts produced with fine Japanese fabrics, reflecting the cultural depth of both countries.

Souq Al-Mawsim is part of Diriyah Season 25-26, organized by the Diriyah Gate Development Authority. The event supports efforts to position Diriyah as a global cultural destination and a distinctive urban center, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to advance the cultural and tourism sectors and strengthen their role in sustainable national development.
