Smylie wins LIV Golf Riyadh title as Ripper GC takes team honours

Riyadh, February 9, 2026 (SABN) – Australian golfer Elvis Smylie won the individual title at the ROSHN Group LIV Golf Riyadh, finishing at 24-under par at Riyadh Golf Club, while his team Ripper GC took the team crown on 69-under.
Smylie sealed victory with an eight-under round on the final day to finish one stroke clear of Spain’s Jon Rahm of Legion XIII and American Peter Uihlein of RangeGoats GC, who ended the tournament on 21-under.
In the team competition, Ripper GC posted 26-under in the final round to finish on 69-under for the tournament. Torque GC was second on 66-under, and 4Aces GC finished third on 59-under.
The event opened the 2026 LIV Golf League season. The tour’s next stop is Adelaide, Australia.
