Saudi Tech Minister Discusses AI Infrastructure and Chip Partnerships in Silicon Valley
SILICON VALLEY, September 12 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha discussed expanding artificial intelligence infrastructure, semiconductor partnerships and local manufacturing in meetings with technology executives and investors on the fourth day of his Silicon Valley visit.
HUMAIN’s computing infrastructure featured in talks with NVIDIA, Intel and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Alswaha and NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang discussed scaling the AI factories HUMAIN is developing with NVIDIA, adopting next-generation platforms to accelerate AI model deployment and expanding Saudi infrastructure capabilities.
With Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, the minister explored semiconductor and advanced computing cooperation, localising solutions and activating Intel Foundry operations in Saudi Arabia. The talks also covered integrating Intel technologies into HUMAIN’s computing ecosystem.
Discussions with HPE President and CEO Antonio Neri focused on accelerating local manufacturing of AI hardware and integrating the company’s AI factory frameworks with HUMAIN’s infrastructure.
Investment and startup financing were the focus of a separate meeting with Kleiner Perkins Managing Partner and General Partner Mamoon Hamid. The two discussed expanding investment in Saudi AI and deep-tech companies, attracting the firm’s portfolio companies to establish operations in the Kingdom and connecting Saudi startups with international venture capital networks.
