Saudi, Syrian Interior Ministers Discuss Security Cooperation in Makkah

MAKKAH, May 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab in Makkah to discuss cooperation and security coordination between the two countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The meeting reviewed existing areas of cooperation and several issues of mutual interest.
Khattab praised Saudi Arabia’s organization of this year’s Hajj season, citing its services for pilgrims, operational capabilities and crowd management.
He said the Kingdom’s efforts helped provide a safe and smooth environment for pilgrims from their arrival until the completion of their rituals.
Several senior officials attended the meeting.
