Saudi Security Operations Center Receives Nearly 3 Million Emergency Calls in May

RIYADH, June 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Security Operations received 2,966,795 calls through the unified emergency number 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Region during May 2026, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The center receives emergency calls and routes them to the relevant security and service agencies through automated systems operated by specialized multilingual personnel.
The center recorded 986,077 calls in Makkah Region, 245,173 in Madinah Region, 1,201,900 in Riyadh Region and 533,645 in the Eastern Region.
NCSO said the system operates around the clock to ensure accurate and professional handling of emergency calls.
