Saudi orchestra world tour to stage Rome concert featuring Andrea Bocelli

RIYADH, April 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia’s Music Commission said the 11th stop of its “Marvels of Saudi Orchestra” world tour will be held in Rome in May and will feature Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
The event will include performances by the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir, as well as Saudi performing arts presented by the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, the commission said.
The concert will feature Saudi, Italian and international works performed by the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir and Italian orchestral musicians under conductor Marcello Rota, the statement said.
It will also include traditional Saudi performing arts, including Ardah Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Khatwa and Yanbaawi.
Music Commission CEO Paul Pacifico said the Rome concert would offer an opportunity to present Saudi artistry to new audiences and exchange creative ideas with international talent.
