Saudi non-oil exports rise 32.3% in October as trade surplus widens

RIYADH, December 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports, including re-exports, rose by 32.3% in October 2025 compared with the same month a year earlier, official data showed.
Figures released by the General Authority for Statistics showed that national non-oil exports increased by 2.4%, while total merchandise exports grew by 11.8% over the same period.
The data also indicated that the Kingdom’s trade balance surplus expanded by 47.4% in October compared with October 2024.
Imports rose by 4.3% in October 2025, while the ratio of non-oil exports to imports increased to 42.3%, up from 33.4% a year earlier.
Electrical machinery, equipment and parts accounted for the largest share of non-oil exports at 23.6%, followed by products of the chemical industry at 19.4%.
On the import side, electrical machinery, equipment and parts ranked first, accounting for 30.2% of total imports and rising by 26.3% year on year. Transport equipment and parts followed at 12.1% of imports, declining by 22.9% compared with October 2024.
China remained Saudi Arabia’s largest trading partner for both exports and imports, accounting for 14.1% of total exports and 24.8% of total imports. The Kingdom’s top 10 trading partners together represented 70.4% of total exports and 67.7% of total imports.
At the port level, King Abdulaziz Port ranked first, accounting for 25.7% of total imports.
