Dubai Real Estate Project Investment Jumps 52% to Over AED111 Billion in H1 2026

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — August 20, 2026 — Saudi Arabia Breaking News: Investment in completed Dubai real estate projects rose 52% year-on-year to more than AED111 billion ($30.2 billion) in the first half of 2026, as project completions and residential supply increased sharply, Dubai Land Department data showed.


A total of 104 projects were completed during the period, up 38.7% from 75 a year earlier.


New residential units increased more than 36% to 24,537, from 18,043 in the first half of 2025, while completed and ready-for-handover built-up area rose 23.4% to 1.95 million square metres.


The value of land allocated to projects more than doubled, rising over 135% to AED19.46 billion from AED8.27 billion.


Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said the figures reflected continued investor confidence in the emirate and progress towards the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double Dubai’s economy by 2033.


The data underscores continued capital inflows into Dubai’s property market, a key sector in the emirate’s economic diversification strategy.
