Saudi inventor Duaa Nizar Khudry wins two gold medals at International Invention Fair in Kuwait

Kuwait City, February 13, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi inventor Duaa Nizar Khudry won two gold medals at the 16th International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), held in Kuwait from February 8 to 12.


Khudry, a member of the Mawhiba Alumni affiliated with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), was recognized for inventing a device that filters materials and recycles used liquids.


She received the first gold medal from the fair’s organizers and the second, the IFIA Best Invention Award, presented by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA). Mawhiba supported and nominated her to represent Saudi Arabia at the event, marking the organization’s third participation in IIFME.
