Saudi Interior Minister Meets Russian Emergency Situations Minister in Riyadh

Riyadh, October 28 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, met in Riyadh on Monday with H.E. Alexander Kurenkov, Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters of the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed ways to strengthen Saudi-Russian cooperation in the fields of civil defense, safety, firefighting, and rescue operations, as well as the exchange of expertise in emergency management and disaster response.

They also reviewed ongoing preparations for the Kingdom’s hosting of the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport 2025, which will be organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior with broad international participation, including from Russia.
