Saudi foreign minister meets U.S. Secretary of State Rubio in Washington

Washington, January 8, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met on Wednesday in Washington with Jim Risch, chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said in a statement.


The two sides reviewed cooperation between the two countries and discussed key regional and international issues.


The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and adviser to the foreign minister Mohammed Alyahya.
