New York, Sept 21, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the High-Level Week of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York with a message of peace and justice, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Prince Faisal stressed that Saudi Arabia has, since the era of the Founder King Abdulaziz and through the reigns of its monarchs up to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, consistently promoted dialogue and peaceful solutions at the international level.
He underlined that the Kingdom has exerted and continues to exert every effort to establish just peace in the Middle East and globally. Marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, Prince Faisal recalled that Saudi Arabia was a founding member in 1945, participated in its first conference, and has maintained a distinguished record in mediation and peacemaking thanks to balanced policies and relations with all parties.
“The Kingdom has been keen to translate the Charter of the United Nations into tangible reality, by upholding international law, maintaining peace and security, and supporting multilateral cooperation in all fields,” Prince Faisal said.
He added that the Kingdom continues its efforts to end the suffering of the Palestinian people and halt the ongoing cycle of violence, affirming that the Palestinian cause remains a priority in all international forums. He stressed that Saudi Arabia will spare no effort to achieve a just solution, beginning with the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and leading to comprehensive and sustainable regional peace.
