Saudi Foreign Minister Joins GCC Meeting in New York Ahead of UNGA High-Level Week

New York, Sept 22, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah took part on Sunday in the coordination meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers, held ahead of the United Nations General Assembly’s High-Level Week in New York.

The meeting was attended by the foreign ministers of GCC member states and GCC Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation, joint coordination, and reviewing the latest developments in the Gulf region.

The ministers reaffirmed their solidarity with the State of Qatar and expressed support for all measures to safeguard its security and sovereignty. They also addressed regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with international organizations to promote global peace and security.
