Saudi foreign minister holds separate talks with Qatar and Jordan on regional security

RIYADH, August 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed regional de-escalation and maritime navigation during separate phone calls with senior officials from Qatar and Jordan.
Prince Faisal spoke with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi.
The talks covered regional developments and the need to coordinate positions aimed at reducing tensions and addressing threats to regional security. The officials also discussed efforts to restore freedom of navigation in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea and limit the wider effects of the crisis.
