Saudi foreign minister holds call with Syrian counterpart on developments in Syria

Riyadh, Jan. 9, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, held a phone call on Thursday, Jan. 8, with Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Al-Shaibani, the Saudi foreign ministry said.

During the call, the two ministers discussed developments in Syria and ongoing efforts related to the situation.
