RIYADH, May 4 — Saudi Arabia’s Environment Fund signed four memorandums of understanding during the opening of Saudi Environment Week 2026, as the Kingdom seeks to strengthen cooperation across conservation, biodiversity, investment and environmental training.
The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the national campaign, launched across the Kingdom under the theme “Your Impact is Green.”
The Environment Fund signed the memorandums with the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority, the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority, the Federation of Saudi Chambers, and the Reef Saudi Academy.
The memorandum with the King Abdulaziz reserve authority covers rehabilitation of damaged environments, biodiversity support and financing for joint environmental studies and projects.
The agreement with the Imam Turki reserve authority focuses on ecosystems, biodiversity protection, environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
A separate memorandum with the Federation of Saudi Chambers addresses innovation, investment stimulation, knowledge exchange and environmental social initiatives, while the agreement with Reef Saudi Academy supports environmental training programs and research.
The Environment Fund said it continues to work on enabling the environmental sector in line with the National Environment Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
