TAIF, August 23, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Taif Governor Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz reviewed preparations for the start of the 1448–1449 AH academic year during a meeting on Sunday with the province’s Director General of Education, Dr. Saeed Al-Ghamdi.


During the meeting, the governor was briefed on preparations carried out by the General Directorate of Education in Taif, including school building readiness, comprehensive maintenance work and measures to ensure schools are fully prepared from both educational and operational perspectives.


The preparations are aimed at ensuring a smooth and well-organized start to the new academic year across the province.


Prince Fawaz also reviewed the General Education System project and its key objectives and regulatory frameworks, which seek to strengthen governance in public education, improve educational outcomes and raise the efficiency of the learning environment in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.


The governor stressed the importance of continuing efforts to develop the education system, improve the quality of learning and equip future generations with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s national development.


Dr. Al-Ghamdi expressed his appreciation to the Taif governor for his support, attention and continued follow-up of the education sector in the province.
