Saudi crown prince urges regional de-escalation in call with Trump

RIYADH, August 2 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a phone call with United States President Donald Trump to discuss developments across the region and their broader regional and international implications, according to SPA.

During the call, His Royal Highness stressed that dialogue must remain the priority in efforts to ease tensions. His Royal Highness also called for every possible measure to restore calm, create conditions for diplomatic solutions and prevent the situation from expanding into a wider conflict with consequences for regional and international security.

The two sides also reviewed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the United States and discussed opportunities to strengthen it further.
