Saudi Crown Prince, Turkish President Discuss Red Sea Attacks and Bilateral Ties

RIYADH, August 4 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is also prime minister, held a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Monday.
President Erdoğan reaffirmed Türkiye’s condemnation of attacks by the Houthi militia against vessels in the Red Sea and expressed his country’s full support for Saudi Arabia.
The Turkish president also welcomed the establishment of the Saudi-led multinational maritime defense alliance and wished it success in achieving its objectives.
The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen relations between Saudi Arabia and Türkiye across several fields, as well as the latest regional developments.
