Saudi Arabian Grand Prix wins “Event Spectacle” at 2025 Formula 1 Promoter Awards

Riyadh, January 30, 2026 (SABN) – The Formula 1 stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was named “Event Spectacle” at the 2025 Formula 1 Promoter Awards in London, recognising the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for entertainment and interactive fan experiences alongside high-speed racing.
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit has been part of the Formula One calendar since its 2021 debut and is described as the fastest street track in the world. The circuit has average speeds of 252 km/h, with drivers at full throttle for 79% of the lap.
The 2026 season is expected to include defending champion Lando Norris competing against Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri, alongside the anticipated debut of Audi and the addition of Cadillac as the 11th team.
The season is also expected to introduce all-new car designs engineered for closer racing, while the F1 Academy is set to return to support the next generation of female motorsport athletes.
