Saudi Arabia Welcomes UN Adoption of New York Declaration on Palestinian Issue

Riyadh, September 12, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the New York Declaration and its annexes, issued by the high-level international conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution. The conference was co-chaired by Saudi Arabia and France.

“This resolution, which was voted on by a large majority of 142 countries, confirms the international consensus on moving toward a peaceful future where the Palestinian people can obtain their legitimate right to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital,” the ministry said in a statement.
