Saudi Arabia urges compliance with Hajj permit rules


RIYADH, May 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior urged citizens, residents and visa holders to comply with Hajj regulations, stressing that a valid Hajj permit is required to perform the pilgrimage, the Saudi Press Agency reported.


The ministry called for full compliance with regulations for the 1447 AH Hajj season and urged cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims.


It also encouraged the public to report violations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and the Eastern Region, or 999 in other regions of the kingdom.
