Saudi Arabia Intercepts Seven Drones in Eastern Province and East of Al-Kharj

Riyadh, March 11, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed seven drones in separate incidents, the Ministry of Defense said Wednesday.
Defense Ministry spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki said two drones were intercepted in the Eastern Province, while five drones were intercepted east of Al-Kharj governorate.
The drones were destroyed by Saudi air defense systems.
No further details were immediately released.
